 | Friday, May 24th, 2013: Herrera Will Miss 2-3 Months "It was kinda freaky. Hopefully, I'll be back in the lineup soon," said a dejected Vicente Herrera after injuring himself in a game against Valencia. The Los Angeles manager told SION reporters, "He will miss up to 2-3 months with a fractured cheekbone." The Quakes will have to decide over the next day or two whether the shortstop will go on the disabled list. So far in 2013 Herrera has hit .253 with 6 home runs and 17 RBIs. He has played in 36 games and scored 21 times. |
